The main target of Üzümcü R&D Department is to bring functional, well defined in product-user relations and high-level in esthetic products in medical device sector. The most important motivation of Üzümcü R&D Department in our country where the medical device sector is 70% dependant to foreign manufacturers, is to develop more competitive products and decrease the rate of that dependance.
With its industrial designing, mechanical designing, market researches and manufacturing planning disciplines, Üzümcü R&D Department is actively following all processes from prototype studies to the supplying of the final product into the market and collecting all feedbacks about product-user relations.
In a medical identification and treatment environment where the product users are more sensitive and delicate than usual, Üzümcü R&D Department attach a serious importance to the ergonomic product-user relations and provide the patient-crew security. Regard to the concept of emotional product relation which is over the functionality, our design team is in the aim of transforming medical environments closer and warmer to peoples and to places where patients shall feel comfortable and positive.
R&D team puts their signatures under designs that are leading in the sector through projects realized with national and international partners as well as works executed within the body of the company. Projects supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and Universities are good examples.
It is cooperated with universities, suppliers, hospitals, research enterprises at home and internationally well-known design firms for R&D studies realized within the body of Üzümcü. Furthermore, developments in the sector are followed closely through participation to the most important national and international fairs of the sector.
